This is our sweet and dear Sébastien just 3 days after his fluid around his precious heart was removed in the Intensive Care Unit. What a precious picture, it is one of my favorites, to show you how much Sébastien is enjoying life despite some difficult times and it is such a perfect example how Sébastien taught us to enjoy every moment we have and to live it to the fullest.......

We would like to thank all of you for praying for our precious son during this difficult time and challenge with his water around his precious heart and thank God and the blessed Virgin Mary for watching over him......

Sébastien also would like to thank his wonderful aunty Jacqueline who came down to see him and was there with us praying and supporting all three of us during this most difficult time hoping that everything would be fine again. Thank you soooo much, it meant a looooooooooot to us that you were with us during this difficult time, to have your shoulder to lean on and to keep us going .... xoxoxo

Also a big thank you to Daniella with her wonderful family who gave us sooo much encouragement and for your visits, thank you to the nurses and doctors that supported us during this difficult time, to our friends and families......

Doing well

Hello to all,

A breif post to reassure you the operation was successful and Sébastien is recovering well. Thank-you for your prayers and kind thoughts of encouragement!

An update

The water on Sébastien's heart was worse than the Doctors had suspected, as the dialysis machine is unable to remove it from his system. Unfortunately, Sébastien will have to be operated on, and is presently in the O.R.
The operation has good chances of being successful.

We've recently had news that Sébastien is in intensive care at Toronto Sick Kids with water on his heart. The situation seems to be serious and the family asks for your prayers.

A wonderful celebration ......

Sébastien's birthday was such a beautiful celebration....

we honoured especially Sébastien's organ donor, his silent hero as well as our beloved son Sébastien for his heroic battle of life and gave thank's to God for everything he has done for us.....

It was such a wonderful celebration embracing the GIFT OF LIFE and many tears of joys were shared in apprecciaten for such a beautiful journey that our son Sébastien is sharing with all of us....

There are not enough words to say thank you for all the wonderful greetings we got for his 2nd birthday.... each one of them means sooooo much to us..... thank you to everyone that helped to decorate the Teddy bear Theater, for being sooo generous with your donations towards 6A Floor/Transplantfloor of the Sick Kids hospital, the Floor Sébastien is calling his home for now....., thank you for all your gifts from near and far and thank you to everyone contributing to Sébastien's Scrapbook send from Winnipeg from our friends..... this was soooooooooo special and means a loooooooot to us...... thank you for everything..... xoxoxoxoxo

will have a little donation box available at his birthday party

to invite people to donate to Sick Kids Hospital instead of a birthday gift.

a mass was celebrate at St. Patrick's Parish in Toronto
in thanksgiving for
our beloved son Sébastien's ORGAN TRANSPLANT and to honor his silent hero the DONOR AND HIS FAMILY.

Sébastien offered some roses to OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP
and light CANDELS .....

Sebastien with Jeff (one of the Wiggles) at the concert of his favourite "WIGGLES", he even got to sit in the famous RED CAR of the Wiggles.

Sebastien just really enjoyed himself and had so much fun.... thank you sooo much my friends at SICK KIDS HOSPITAL for organizing this .

What a miracle.....

.....what a blessing to see Sebastien bloom and change sooo much..... since we are on the 6th floor there has been sooo many blessings and we are praising God for each one of them....

....... Sebastien has been going out for stroller rides many times during the day

....... Sebastien is nearly sitting by himself with the loving help of our Physio Team

...... Sebastien dressed up on Halloween and went trick a treating in the hospital

..... Sebastien has been going outside the hospital to visit the Ronald MacDonald House, ST.
Patrick church, etc....

.....Sebastien has started to eat some solids

..... Sebastien is just sooooo happy and smiles for everyone

...... Sebastien was send with the help of the Sick Kids hospital this last Saturday to see a Show of his favorite "WIGGLES" , he was just amazed by it and it was a very special moment for us as parents to bring him to an event like that.....Thank you Maria xoxooox

...... Sebastien has made soooooooooooooo much progress within even just a week.... wooooow... it is amazing to see and be a wittness of Sebastien's Happiness & JOIE DE VIVRE.....

( there is way more to tell and we will be posting the pictures of SEbastien in his Halloween outfit, at the Wiggles, etc.... soon)

This is me with my amazing Papa who came back from Winnipeg to see me and I was sooooooooooooooo happy to see him...... I really missed him a loooooot. Thank you Papa for being there for me and keeping strong when you are far away in Winnipeg. You are an amazing Papa and I am sooo blessed to have you.... I loooooooooooove you millions

What wonderful pictures of Sebastien with his loving Grandmaman & Grandpapa who are with us to help us out, as Sebastien left about 2 weeks ago the Critical Care Unit and moved to the 6 A Floor to his new room. ( due to some problems with the blog we are now finnally able to update you again) What a wonderful day for the Forest family to be blessed with their son Sebastien....

Sebastien mit seiner lieben Grandmaman & liebem Grandpapa die mit uns sind um uns zu helfen. Sebastien hat vor ungefahr 2 Wochen die Intensive Station verlassen und ist nun in einem Zimmer auf dem 6. Stock.

• especially for the donor and his family to share the GIFT OF LIFE and that they find comfort in knowing that a part of their child will live on in our son Sebastien

• for our son Sebastien who brought us sooo much closer to God and to each other, for his amazing Joy and his amazing eyes full of Life xoxoxoxox

We would like to share this prayer that someone send to us!

Dear God,

We are blessed to be able to place in the hands of the Great Physician all our needs and to be able to feel physical and emotional healing and strenght.

We place before our Lord Sebastien as he recovers from surgery. We pray for his health to be restored and his strenght. Guide the hands of the doctors and nurses. Impart wisdom to their minds.

We pray for his family. We ask for comfort and peace to surround them and that they will know that the Lord is with them at all times and especially during these very difficult and trying times.

We pray in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

I would like to share with you those two pictures of Sebastien.

The picture to the left shows our dear Sebastien after his bath one night in March 2006 . ( did you notice how yellow he is, due to his damaged liver)

The second picture shows our sweet Sebastien with his loving Papa just about 3 weeks after his life-saving transplant in Toronto and tears come to my eyes of Joy to see him in such great spirits, health, colour..... etc......

We are soooooo blessed and thankfull for our beloved Sebastien's transplant and for the generosity of the donor's family to share their gift of Life to life on in our son..... there are not enough words to thank but only prayers that we offer to God for this marvellous Gift of Life .......

Sebastien has touched and changed sooo many Lifes and he his indeed an amazing inspiration to me and to all of us to live each day to the fullest and to thank God for our Gift of Life ......

Our sweet Sebastien is doing really well and enjoys to sit in his highchair to play and to watch his favorite shows like Barney, Teletubis ....


Since a week Sebastien is off his TPN..... yeahh and he is on full feeds. This was a day to celebrate.

He even was aloud to go in his stroller on Thanksgiving day for a littel walk around the 2nd floor of the hospital...... what a special moment for all of us .... let's give thanks to the Lord for all his blessing and marvellous things..... Sebastien seems to be sooo happy and let's pray for his kidneys to start again ..... xoxoxo
